Facilities are one of the most important aspects of Game Ranching.
A traditional livestock fence will not contain every species of animals. In most cases, High fences must be constructed. We can consult with you or construct different types of game fencing based on species of animals, budget, and environmental factors of your ranch.
Hunting is usually the first aspect of game ranching that people consider. The production and sale of animals, though, is a much more profitable aspect of game ranching. If production is the choice for your ranch, you will have to capture and haul animals at some point.
Early game ranchers used tranquilizer darts for capture and that method is still used today. While this works some of the time, you always run a high risk of injury or death to the animal. We have also seen broken legs and other injuries to ranchers from this method of capture.
